About size and format…
Size: TwitterPinch backgrounds are 1600px wide  x 800px deep. (if you need something different, let’s talk)
Format: Final images are delvered as jpeg (file size is about 450k)

Note: Twitter backgrounds will look different from screen to screen because of the size and mainly, the resolution of different monitors. They are simply flat images, they stay in the same position on the screen and the “twitter stream” box (over the top), effectively moves depending on the resolution of the screen… so on a low res screen, the background might be completely covered, and on a hi res, you’d see a lot of it. Basically, there isn’t a standard size that will fit all screens.

How long does it take?
Depends on your deadline, but I like to give it a week so I don’t have to just slam it out. I do these for fun outside of my regular hectic world as a full time Art Director. It also depends on how much work is on my plate… everything is flexible though.
